"Perennials to extend the season"

Steven Moore is a professionally trained horticulturalist who opened Rapkyns Nursery near Broad Oak some years ago growing a unique range of quality and unusual perennials, shrubs, and climbers.

He grows all his own plants and as well as selling them on site, attends a number of local markets and events.

He is a fount of gardening knowledge and speaks on a wide range of garden subjects and is a regular in the Burwash Horticultural Society calendar. He normally sells a range of plants at the end of his talks which proves a great success with his audience.

"Companion Planting"

Katherine is a retired Primary teacher with a lifelong interest in gardening. She has been on many courses at Hadlow college and is show secretary for her local gardening association. Concentrating mainly on flower growing she is very keen on growing from seed and cuttings. Her garden at home focuses on perennials and grasses and Katherine uses lots of containers. She is a regular speaker at garden society events.
