The results are in!

Thank you so much to all those who entered our virtual Spring Show. We had lots of high quality entries across the classes. Unfortunately not many tulips were out in time for the show.

The RHS flower judge was impressed with the very high standard of all entries. The floral art entries were beautiful and we had some excellent children's paintings. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing your entries.

The entries, which have been judged by independent judges, are now available to view. Click on the categories below. Once you are in, click on a photo to see it in larger scale/ full screen and any comments provided.

Once again, thank you to everyone who took part.

Please browse and enjoy!

A few points to remember when entering this show:

  • This may sound obvious but it is important that before entering the show you read the Show Schedule. Judges may disallow entries or you may be marked down if your entries are not according to the Schedule.

  • Pay attention to:

- how many items you have to submit.

- the minimum/ maximum size if given.

- any specific preparation or display instructions.

  • Read the relevant rules and information that you will need to take account of in the Show Rules and Hints and Tips section. (Please note that if you do not take these into account, the judge will not include your picture when judging.)

  • The same applies to all other sections.

  • This is not a photographic competition but it should be good enough to do justice to your exhibit.

  • Ensuring that the bloom looks at its best will improve your chances.

  • Avoid blemishes showing on the bloom.

  • Take the photograph in a good light against a light plain background.

  • It will be helpful to position the photo so that the judge can easily see the individual flowers.

  • Try to fill the frame with as much of your exhibit as possible but avoid getting too close (as it may not focus properly).

  • The same attention to detail will apply to the floral art and paintings too.

  • By emailing your entry you:

- consent to your name, class entered and photo being uploaded to our website. If you are emailing on behalf of a

child and you do not want their name to be published, please mention this in your email.

- understand that once your photo is uploaded to our website, we are unable to prevent anyone with internet access    copying it/ using it elsewhere without your permission.

  • Your name, address and email address will not be passed on to third parties in line with data protection regulations.

How to enter the Virtual Spring Show:
