Class 30 - Simplicity: 3 flowers and foliage
1st Maureen Jenner
A well balanced exhibit with good use of line taking the eye down to the 'water'
2nd Colette Ash
Well placed flowers, however the size of the container is rather small compared to the size of the blooms which unbalances the design
3rd Lynda Maude-Roxby
Lovely cheerful spring flowers. Placing the flower on the left slightly lower and towards the centre would give better space and visual transition.
Vivienne Wright
Lovely hellebores. It is difficult to tell if there are 3 stems with more than one flower on each stem, which is allowed under NAFAS competition rules. However the foliage (sarcococca?) has flowers on as well (sorry to be picky). It would also be better presented with the pinholder covered with a leaf, sisal or other mechanic.
Linda Mintram
Lovely narcissus. However as yellow is a dominant colour, they take the eye to the top of this design. The use of more eye catching foliage would help balance the overall appearance.

Class 31 - Triangle: Arrangement in a triangular shape
1st Colette Ash
Good use of complimentary colours co-ordinating with the container. Beautiful
2nd Maureen Jenner
Well conditioned plant material. However the recessive purple eustoma at the base creates a large 'hole'. Placing one of the pink flowers closer to it would provide better visual balance
3rd Lynda Maude-Roxby
Gorgeous narcissus (I can smell them from here!) Using different forms and colours would provide more interest.
Linda Mintram
Lovely garden plant material. However the foliage at the base appears quite dark and heavy upsetting the balance. Bringing more colour down would help. The triangle of twigs and ivy are visually distracting and unnecessary.
